SUPERMARINE SPITFIRE

First flown on 5 th of March 1936, Spitfire became an iconic symbol of Battle of Britain and wartime RAF as a whole. Over twenty thousand were manufactured and they served in most WW2 theaters. Last operational RAF sortie was flown in 1954 against Malaysian communists.  Now, only about 50 Spitfires are still airworthy.
